What was the highlight of Club del Carmen
Exceptional
The villa we stayed in was great, it had a nice view from the balcony, all of the amenities were provided, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were big enough, and they had large wardrobes. The restaurant Bailys Bar had great service, amazing food and huge portions, plus there was always something happening. The villa itself was very peaceful, the pool area wasn't too busy, so we didn’t feel like it was crowded. Location wise, it's smack in the middle between beaches and restaurants/bars, which were just a pleasant walk away. The beach was right in front of the hotel, and the local supermarket, which is right around the corner was very convenient and fairly well stocked. The entire complex is entered with a keycard, so it felt very safe.
The housekeeping staff, during scheduled cleaning, changed all our towels, even though we only left one on the floor to get changed. Doesn't align with the save the water initiative.

What was the highlight of Club del Carmen
Overall a great second time staying here..but spoilt by the children not allowed to play as children in the pool.
Lovely friendly reception staff and cleaners. On-site restaurant food and staff superb.
Lifeguards a little strict with children. No one else in the pool yet a guest complained that the children were splashing and playing? They were told off so we headed to the beach so could have some fun! I feel that the management/lifeguard should have told the complaining guest that the children were doing no harm as no one else other than our family in the pool.
